Graduachurchworkfrisbee...crazy!

Wow... I am doing a poor job of updating this.

Quick Recap:

1. Graduated from Wofford in May '08
2. Working for Myers Park UMC in Charlotte, NC starting in May '08 until August '09.
3. I have my own apartment and my own lovely set of bills to pay... it is lovely.
4. I visited a few more countries this Summer making my total: 8 countries and 4 continents.
5. I joined an ultimate league in Charlotte that starts in the beginning of September.
6. I was accepted into Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA for next fall so we will see how that goes.



Things are going well but Youth Ministry has got to be one of the most time consuming jobs ever but I love it.

Please pray for me as I figure out what God wants with me for the years to come... like during/after Seminary.

So I am about to start my second week of my last semester and things are good. I am caught up on work and I am enjoying my classes and my time with my friends. My faith is going well but still filled with the daily struggles that remind me of my desperate need for God. All-in-all, I am where I want to be.

Another day...another chance. Praise God.

Here it goes...

So I had used a blog while abroad about a year ago and recently had the thought to start it back up. This will hopefully keep people up-to-date with what is going on in my life while also hearing about stories and thoughts that engage my life and faith as well!

Quick update for 2008:

-In my Interim (January) term at Wofford (Senior year) and I am taking a course called "Life and Works of C.S. Lewis."
-We leave this Wednesday, January 16th, 2008 for Oxford, England for 11 days to continue our study of C.S. Lewis at his home university.
-I have one more semester of college at Wofford.
-I am currently applying to two seminaries: Duke Divinity School and Candler School of Theology (Emory University) to one day work with non-profit services.
-The beard is gone.
